We dance every Monday (except Bank Holidays) 8 pm at Stamford Arts Centre, 27 St Mary’s Street, Stamford, PE9 2DL.

Beginners and more experienced dancers are welcome each and every Monday, but please note, beginners coming along for the first time should arrive a few minutes before 8pm so we can log you in, and you can join in the beginners' lesson which starts at 8pm.

We teach and dance modern jive, which is an easy-to-learn partner dance that is social and fun!   You are welcome to come on your own or come with a partner.   If you would like to see what a beginners' lesson looks like you can see some of the moves we teach here.

We start with a 30 minute beginner lesson, where you will learn three dance moves followed by a chance to practice the moves with other beginners, and if you wish with some more experienced dancers.

​

At 9 pm we have an intermediate class during which beginners have a revision class to go over the three moves taught earlier, in a separate room.

After that there is dancing until we close at 10.45.  Beginners will find that there are both other beginners and many more experienced dancers who will happily work through the basic moves.

More experienced dancers can of course dance with each other right the way through until we close at 10.45.

CAR PARKING: There is a huge free, well-illuminated car park on Wharf Road just four minutes walk from the venue (PE9 2YG).   We are a fabulous friendly group - come along and join us!
